To whom it may concern:

It is my pleasure to recommend Kaitlyn Cavanaugh who I taught in 7th grade English class.  As a student, Kaitlyn demonstrated tremendous effort and growth throughout the year and brought  great energy to the class. She has that combination of a positive attitude and the belief that she can always improve, which is rare in a middle school student but so essential to the learning process. Her diligence and commitment to excellence makes her a perfect candidate for your organization.

Kaitlyn is a trustworthy, reliable, good-natured student and friend who supports others in and out of the classroom. She demonstrates her dedication to others by volunteering to help her teachers even if she has not been asked. In addition, it is in that same spirit that she consoles her friends when they are distressed or lends an ear for venting their frustrations.

She was a pleasure to have in class, and her positive attitude was infectious. I am confident that she will continue to demonstrate that same diligence, perseverance, and optimism that she has shared with myself and her peers. I highly recommend Kaitlyn as a candidate for your organization.

Kaitlyn will be a rising freshmen in the fall of 2016 at Chattahoochee High School and will be a member of the girls lacrosse season in the spring.  She has been playing club lacrosse since 2013 with Eagle Stix and the Chattahoochee feeder program.  She has had a great start to her lacrosse program by making the 2014--2016 Brine National Team for Georgia, in 2014 she was the only sixth grader that made the team.  Her Eagle Stix 2020 Blue team has qualified for the 2016 US Lacrosse National Championship U-15 Tournament.  As a future coach of Kaitlyn's,  I have been watching her since she started lacrosse  and am looking forward to finally getting the opportunity to coach her in the spring of 2017.  As you can tell she is very dedicated in lacrosse and wants to keep getting better by participating in club lacrosse and making these National teams.

I have known Katie for 6 years. Katie Cavanaugh is an outstanding player and person. She is an unbelievable talent who has great skills. She has a nose for the cage and can make plays all over the field.

What stands out about Katie is her attitude and work ethic. It is contagious. She never quits and is a great example on the field with her temperament and sportsmanship. She puts in extra work outside of practice to be the best.

She is an outstanding leader on and off the field. When she speaks her teammates listen. She always picks her teammates up and motivates them.

I am lucky to have had the opportunity to coach Katie. I'm proud of the player and person she has become.

Best,

I have had the pleasure of having Kaitlyn as a student in my Georgia studies class this school year. Kaitlyn is a cheerful and vibrant young lady with excellent academic and social skills, who is sure to have a bright future ahead of her. Kaitlyn is a hard worker who takes a lot of pride in doing her best in my class. She has excelled in her studies and always displays her best in class. Additionally, Kaitlyn is very creative. She has used her artistic talents to create amazing drawings. She has shown this throughout the year on multiple class and individual projects.

To conclude, I would like to restate my strong academic recommendation for Kaitlyn Cavanaugh. If you have any further questions regarding Kaitlyn's ability, please feel free to contact me.
